Madra Rua Leggings

Madra Rua leggings have gorgeous colours in them, celebrating our indigenous fox, or Madra Rua in Irish (which translates as Red Dog). As a child, MJ lived in the countryside on the West coast of Ireland, and loved to spot foxes frolicking in the wild. Seeing or hearing a fox was magical, and still today MJ loves to glimpse the flash of red from a fox dashing by. A couple of months ago, a fox came by her front door, and inspired these leggings.

The fabric is 82% polyester and 18% spandex, is 38-40 UPF, and the material has a four-way stretch, so the fabric stretches and recovers on the cross and lengthwise grains. Precision-cut and hand-sewn after printing

The High Waist leggings have a raised waistband with a soft, wide, clear elastic for extra comfort, a hidden pocket in the waistband seam, are sewn with a white flat seam cover stitch, and have a triangle-shaped gusset crotch for extra strength and comfort.
